The McClure lab is dedicated to in silico biological research. Located at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT, we use cutting edge techniques and state of the art computer resources to create new information from existing biological data. We are a member of the Department of Microbiology.

 

What is Bioinformatics?

Definition: Bioinformatics is the generation of new knowledge from existing data. This type of research includes the development and testing of software tools necessary to generate new knowledge from primary source information deposited in databases and the literature.
